About the Project
The Saintfield Community Heritage Park represents the most significant project undertaken by our association. This major heritage initiative will create a free-access outdoor space that celebrates and preserves Saintfield's unique history while providing a valuable community resource.
In 2022, we secured a grant of 903,000 GBP from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, one of the largest heritage grants awarded in Northern Ireland. This was supplemented by a generous $100,000 donation from an American benefactor with family connections to Saintfield.
The park is expected to be completed by the end of 2025 and will be freely accessible to all members of the community and visitors to the area.
